Position: Senior Officer / Officer – Regulatory Compliance

Location: Rawalpindi
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain a centralized repository of all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines issued by regulatory bodies (e.g. State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), etc.).
• Ensure easy access to the repository for all relevant departments to facilitate compliance.
• Conduct periodic compliance risk assessments across all departments to identify potential areas of non-compliance.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls and recommend improvements to mitigate risks.
• Collect, verify, and compile data required for regulatory returns as per SBP guidelines.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of regulatory returns to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
• Gather and consolidate data from various departments for adhoc reports requested by SBP.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of adhoc reports within the stipulated deadlines.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to address any discrepancies or gaps in the data.
• Liaise with branches to ensure compliance with branch licensing requirements.
• Manage the process of applying for new branch licenses and intimating SBP about branch openings and relocations. • Ensure all documentation and regulatory requirements are met for branch-related activities.
Requirements:
• Good oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS office Specially MS Excel, word and PowerPoint.
• Holds a bachelor’s degree, preferably Master’s in a relevant discipline.
• 2-3 years’ relevant experience, Candidates with Operation background may also apply.
